Caring and Sharing
Reducing educational disparities is a crucial policy for the Crop Integration Business, Rice, Transportation and Services of the Charoen Pokphand Group. We committed to conducting business in tandem with societal development. The company aligns with its 3 benefits philosophy, this is the beginning of this project. The primary objective is to provide financially disadvantaged children and youth in remote areas who ensure good behavior and volunteer spirit must have educational opportunities. To date, more than 3,000 scholarships have been awarded since 2006.
Criteria for scholarship
- Family income not exceeding 100,000 Baht per year.
- Students demonstrate good behavior, contribute positively to the community, and actively participate in voluntary activities as certified by the school or community members.
- Selection is based on the evaluation of the school’s faculty and committee members.
Operation
The working committee coordinates with school to select scholarship recipients. The CSR SPIRIT committee collaborates in visiting homes of scholarship students.
