The history of the chemical fertilizer mixing and packaging plant in Nakhon Luang
The chemical fertilizer mixing and packaging plant produces customized compound fertilizers including chemical and organic-inorganic blends located in Pak Charn, Nakhon Luang, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya where connecting the transportation of raw materials by both sea and land from various countries and distributing products domestically and internationally such as Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. This relocation of production facilities aims to meet the increasing demand for products by expanding sales channels in various economic sectors. It involves enhancing brand awareness and collaborating with economic development in different regions of Thailand including improving fertilizer formulas to suit soil types, soil analysis, and crop requirements. The factory has shifted its production base while increasing production capacity from the original facility that operated for over 20 years in Phatthana Nikhom, Lopburi with a production capacity of 20,000 tons per year at that time.
Since 2018, the production capacity for custom-ordered fertilizers (bulk blend fertilizers) has been 300,000 tons per year and the bulk fertilizer packaging capacity is 100,000 tons per year. This increase in production capacity has been achieved through the implementation of an automated product stacking and wrapping system known as Robotic Stack & Wrap Palletizing in conjunction with an automated production and conveyor control system. This technology has been in operation from 2018 to present.
