- In 1992 (B.E. 2535) Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont (Senior Chairman of CP Group) donated 10 tons of CP 888 seeds to Vo Van Kiet (Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the time)
- In 1994 (B.E. 2537) the company imported seeds from Thailand and sold 100 tons for the first time.
- In 1997 (B.E. 2540) Imported seeds from Thailand and sold 800 tons.
- In 1998 (B.E. 2541) The construction of a seed conditioning plant in Dong Nai began with a production capacity of 3,500 tons per year.
- In 1999 (B.E. 2542) The production of CP 888 seeds commenced in Vietnam for the first time.
- In 2008 (B.E. 2551) The total seed sales volume reached 5,300 tons.
- In 2010 (B.E. 2553) The company expanded the plant to increase the production capacity to 12,000 tons per year.
- In 2014 (B.E. 2557) Collaborated with the partner company Bayer to enter into Biotech seed technology.

Corn seeds for animal
- First tested and distributed starting in 1992 beginning with the CP888 variety. This maize yields 2 ears per plant resulting in increased productivity and income for farmers compared to traditional local varieties up to 4x. Currently, in 2023, there are 8 corn seed varieties available for distribution categorized into Conventional and Biotech (GMOs):
- 7 Conventional Varieties: CP511 , CP512, CP111, CP811, CP311
- 1 Biotech (GMOs) Variety: CP 501S

Rice
- Currently available in the market with one variety, which is CP134.

The factory was established in 1998
The factory can produce 10,000 tons of seeds per year. Additionally, it is equipped with storage facilities, including a cold room for product preservation.

Charoen Pokphand Group’s commitment to carbon dioxide reduction and afforestation has set the goal to become a carbon-neutral facility in 2030. Additionally, they aim to plant 20 million trees by 2025. This initiative involves promoting the participation of employees, business partners, contractors, and stakeholders to reduce greenhouse gas emissions throughout the supply chain. To accomplish these goals, the business unit in Vietnam (C.P. SEEDS VIETNAM Co., Ltd.) has launched a reforestation project and the activities are as follows:
- From May to October 2020 (2563), 1,700 trees were planted.
- From May to June 2021 (2564), 1,000 trees were planted.
- The trees were planted a total of 2,700. Furthermore, C.P. SEEDS VIETNAM Co., Ltd. has plans for continuous afforestation activities aiming to plant 2,000 trees during 2023-24 (2566-67).
- This effort involves collaboration between management and all employees, planting various types of native trees such as Rubber Trees, Siamese Rosewood, Pink Cedar Trees, Burmese rosewood, and Purple Orchid Trees.
